Prepare!

YESTERDAY, we were reminded of the importance of being ready to "meet our God" in a sermon delivered to us by Uncle Noah. Storms of life are going to come and we should never be complacent. Every day, we should live our lives in such a way that we are sure about getting to heaven when our fragile lives are taken from us.

Every single death is a sign that God Almighty is the source of life. He gives and He takes away but most of us know not the hour...

Every single death should be a warning to us to prepare and be ready to meet our God.

「嵐の前の静けさ。」あらしのまえのしずけさ... When the strong tides lift and the cables strain, will your anchor drifts of firm remain?

                         ✨✨✨

Today, in my personal study and quiet time reading the book of Amos, I found a wonderful message of loving rebuke and reminder.

Are we guilty of turning ablind eye to the suffering of others for "more important" work like praying, preaching, and teaching?

On Sabbath, February 27th, we have an opportunity to visit and serve the people at SMILE Deafblind Center in Tsuruhashi. We hope that we can all have a chance to visit and be friends with them, letting our light shine before them so that they will see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.

Have a blessed week!

...and vaya con Dios! (Go with God!)
